2009: Led the team with 53 hits (tied for 5th in the MIAA) along with 36 runs scored and a hitting percentage of .371... the .371 average was 14th in the MIAA... her on base percentage of .434 was 2nd on the team... scored 36 runs, 1st on team and 6th in MIAA... led the team with 60 total bases... was able to draw 14 walks, good for 2nd on the team... recorded 27 stolen bases, tops on both the team and in the MIAA... led the team in total at bats with 143 and total plate appearences with 164

High School Awards: Played for the Eagles under coach Audrey Seymour in the CMAC. Was named 1st team all-conference three times. Taught Sunday School.

Alma's "green" residence hall, Wright Hall, was completed in January 2005. The modern, 60-bed apartment-style hall features a number of environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, recycled-content ceiling tiles and carpeting, energy-efficient windows, rooftop solar heating panels, energy-efficient showers and washing machines, and a computerized energy monitoring system.

Dennis Griffin

Denny Griffin is heading into his 27th year at Alma College and his 20th at the helm of the Scots softball program. He moved into the head softball coaching position in 1989 after two years as assistant coach. His teams have never fallen lower than third place in conference standings and 12 of his last 14 teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

In addition to his softball duties, Griffin is the program director for the Athletic Training Education Program. He teaches first aid/CPR and sports medicine classes in the Exercise and Health Science Department.
