The Alma College softball team was scheduled to host Adrian College this afternoon, but the game has been rescheduled for a later date. With severe weather predicted in Michigan for the entire week, a make-up date has not yet been determined.

The Corporation for National and Community Service named Alma College to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll With Distinction for exemplary service efforts and service to disadvantaged youth. The Honor Roll is the highest federal recognition a school can achieve for its commitment to service-learning and civic engagement.
Dennis Griffin
Denny Griffin is heading into his 26th year at Alma College and his 20th at the helm of the Scots softball program. He moved into the head softball coaching position in 1989 after two years as assistant coach. His teams have never fallen lower than third place in conference standings and 12 of his last 14 teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
In addition to his softball duties, Griffin is the program director for the Athletic Training Education Program. He teaches first aid/CPR and sports medicine classes in the Exercise and Health Science Department.
