SCOTS MEN'S TENNIS TAKES ON HANOVER IN FLORIDA
The men’s tennis team Monday in Orlando against Hanover College. The Scots were in control most of the match and won 8-1. Alex Montoye played a tough match after winning the first set and then loosing the second, but then controlled the third set to win the match at three singles.
The singles lineup was Dan Fraser at one singles, Kace Lovejoy at two singles, Alex Montoye at three singles, Mark Stuart at four singles, Zach Kerr at five singles, Ben Schippers at six singles, and Rob Vandorin, Dave Braidwood and Corey McCue at singles exhibition. The doubles lineup was Dan Fraser and Kase Lovejoy at one doubles, Alex Montoye and Mark Stuart at two doubles, and Zach Kerr, Ben Shippers at three doubles, and Corey McCue and Dave Braidwood at doubles exhibition.
The results of the match for singles was 6-1; 6-4 for one singles, 6-1; 6-4 for two singles, 6-1; 2-6; 6-1 for three singles, 7-5; 4-6; 3-6 for four singles, 6-1; 6-0 for five singles, 6-4; 7-6 (7-1 tiebreaker) for six singles, 6-0; 6-0 for Vandorin’s exhibition match, 6-0; 6-1 for Braidwood’s match, and 6-3; 6-3 for McCue’s match. The results of the match for doubles were 8-2 for one doubles, 8-3 for two doubles, 8-2 for three doubles, and 8-3 for exhibition doubles.
