MEN'S TENNIS: Scots Win Thunder Doubles Tournament

Mar. 30, 2008

The Alma College Men's Tennis Team took a break from the normal Dual Match set-up and took part in the 2008 Thunder Doubles Tournament and brought home an impressive win.

The tournament format consists of a four tier round robin where each teams number one, two, three and four doubles face off against eachother.

The Scots' doubles teams each one two of their three matches with the exception of the #3 doubles team, Dan Fraser (Lexington/Lexington-Croswell) and Alex Montoye (Mt. Pleasant)  who swept all three of their matches.

With two wins in the number one, two and four tiers and three in the third, the Scots tallied nine total points and one the tournament in convincing fashion.
