MEN'S TENNIS: Alma Defeats Goshen 8-1 in Non-Conference Action

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Alma College men's tennis team defeated Goshen (Ind.) 8-1 in dual meet action Saturday evening in Grand Rapids.

Goshen's regular season is played throughout the fall and finished 6-5 on the season and sixth in the MCC Tournament.

Alma is now 11-4 on the season and returns to the court Apr. 3 when it hosts Hope College at 1 p.m.

 

Students learn important leadership principles for the 21st century from internationally recognized speakers like Madeleine Albright and Vicente Fox and by participating in international study opportunities through inventive programs like the Center for Responsible Leadership and the Posey Global Leadership Fellows Program.

Nathan Kronewetter

Alma College men’s soccer is in the process of rebuilding a once dominating program, and has made strides under the direction of Nathan Kronewetter who was hired before the 2006 season.

Kronewetter earned his bachelor of arts from Hope College in 1996 in Studio Art and continued his studies at Ohio Wesleyan University in Education. A four-year player and three-year starter for the Flying Dutchmen, he served as a senior captain in 1996. Nathan led Hope to three MIAA Championships and two NCAA playoff berths including an NCAA quarterfinal appearance in 1994.
