MEN'S SOCCER: Scots Fight Hard, Lose to Hope 2-5

Oct. 31, 2007

Alma, Mi. - The Scots (3-9-1, 4-13-2) hosted Hope College (9-3-1, 12-6-1) at Scotland Yard and in a cold and wet match, lost by the score of 2-5.

Hope came out and scored the first three goals of the game and fought off every attempt of the Scots to rally, answering both Alma goals with goals of their own, on their way to the win.

Mark Daisy (Mt. Pleasant/Mt. Pleasant) continued to prove that he is one of the elite offensive players in the MIAA, scoring two goals for the Scots and just missing on several other tries.

The Scots will end their season on Saturday as they host Albion College at 2 p.m.
