MEN'S GOLF: Results From MIAA Jamboree #3

The Alma College Men's Golf Team played in the third MIAA Jamboree of the year, hosted by Hope College, and finished in fourth place.

Alma scored a 302 overall, which places them in third place in the overall standings for  the 2007 MIAA Championship. Leading the way for the Scots was sophomore Rob Ronk (Clarkston/Clarkston) who shot a 71 and the third best round of the day.

Many of Alma’s pre-law graduates go on to attend prestigious law schools, including 2004 graduate Jessica Karbowski, who was accepted at Yale, Stanford and Harvard law schools and is attending Yale. Colin McGlaughlin, a 20004 graduated enrolled at Case Western Reserve Law School, is the first American to intern at the International Criminal Court at The Hague in the Netherlands.

Nathan Kronewetter

Alma College men’s soccer is in the process of rebuilding a once dominating program, and has made strides under the direction of Nathan Kronewetter who was hired before the 2006 season.

Kronewetter earned his bachelor of arts from Hope College in 1996 in Studio Art and continued his studies at Ohio Wesleyan University in Education. A four-year player and three-year starter for the Flying Dutchmen, he served as a senior captain in 1996. Nathan led Hope to three MIAA Championships and two NCAA playoff berths including an NCAA quarterfinal appearance in 1994.
