MEN'S GOLF: Scots Finish 3rd at Second MIAA Jamboree
Alma, Mi.- The Men's Golf team played well from top to bottom on their way to a third place finish in the second MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet College yesterday.
Leading the way for the Scots was senior Evan Kay (St. Albert, Alberta/Paul Kane) who shot a team low 74, the fourth best round of the day. Sophomore Rob Ronk (Clarkston/Clarkston) had a pretty good day of his own, shooting a 76 for the Scots. Junior Kyle Travis (Shepherd/Shepherd) and freshman David Moilanen (Brighton/Brighton) each finished with a 78 respectively.
The Scots finished 11 strokes behind Olivet College who came home with the win. Besides Olivet, the Scots were the only team to have four golfers finish below 80 on the day.
