ALMA FOOTBALL WILL NOT PLAY HOPE COLLEGE ON SATURDAY

The MIAA announced on Friday that Saturday's scheduled football game between Alma College and Hope College is being postponed due to an outbreak of a Norovirus on Hope's campus.

No date for a make-up as been scheduled at this time, but the league is looking at all options. When a decision is made, it will be posted on the Alma College athletic website.

As a result of the postponement, the Scots are off this weekend and will resume practice on Monday in preparation for the 2008 home-finale on November 22, against Albion College. Game time at Bahlke Field is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The Alma College Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team claimed its ninth consecutive regional championship at the SIFE USA Regional Competition in March 2009. The competition awards the SIFE teams that are most effective in teaching the principals of market economics through outreach projects in their communities.
