1967 & 1968 Championships Reunion

A "Salute to the Champions"

A 40th ANNIVERSARY “SALUTE TO THE CHAMPIONS”

1967 and 1968 Scots Football Reunion                                       September 5th & 6th, 2008

We all came together in the mid-60’s to accomplish something very memorable in Alma College athletic history. We enjoyed a special relationship with one another and that chemistry enabled us to enjoy a victory streak over 17 consecutive games, a standard that remains the all-time record for Scots football success. It is time to again relive those days and to renew our friendships.

The focus will be upon Saturday, September 6th, 2008 when the Scots football team will be in competition with Bluffton College. We challenge each one of you to make that extra special effort to return to campus and help us create many more very special memories. Definitely – mark your calendar and reserve one or two days for the reunion of two outstanding Scots teams. Naturally, Coach Stolz will be with us to address the team, one more time.

For those who may wish to arrive Friday, Charlie Gray will be hosting an informal get together at his house, 900 Falkirk Road (the house in the “island” just north of the north goal post of Bahlke Field) beginning at 7:00 p.m.. Let us know if you are interested in attending this Friday “kick-off”.
