BASEBALL: Dow Diamond Information for 4/22 Game vs. Northwood

Spectator Information:

- Gates open at 2:30 for the Northwood-Alma game.

- Parking in the lot behind centerfield is available, but there is a charge. Fans can also park in other lots or side streets. See: http://www.loons.com/dowdiamond/parking/

- Since the game leads into the Loons game, all spectators must purchase a Loons ticket for admission to the Northwood-Alma game. 

- Lawn seats are $6.00. NU-Alma fans can sit in the seats with a lawn ticket, but must sit on the lawn for the Loons game.

- Reserved seats for the Loons game are $8.00.

- Tickets may be purchased in advance, or at the Loons ticket window starting at 2:30 p.m. on April 22.

- Fans can watch the college game, leave the stadium then return to Dow Diamond for the Loons game. A Loons rep. will stamp the hand of those who leave then want to re-enter.
 

 

Alma College's partnership with the Pine River Superfund Citizen Task Force, an EPA-sanctioned Community Advisory Group (CAG), received the 2008 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Partnership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration, sponsored by Michigan Campus Compact. The Task Force is recognized as one of the most influential and active CAGs nationally and as having the largest membership of any CAG in the United States.

Judd Folske

Judd Folske

Judd Folske is entering his first year as Alma College Head Baseball Coach in the 2007-2008 season after spending two years as an assistant coach with the program. Coach Folske joined the Maroon and Cream in the fall of 2005 after stops at NCAA Division I Central Michigan University, and stints at Div. II schools Saginaw Valley State University and Ferris State University. He also serves the athletic department as assistant athletic director.

While head coach of the CMU Chippewas, Folske posted a 131-98 mark. In 2000, he finished in a tie for first in the MAC conference with a record of 41-17 (18-8). Folske retired after the 2003 season at CMU, and went to work as an assistant at SVSU, where he worked in that capacity for two seasons.
