Schedule Update for Alma College Spring Sports

Many Alma College teams have been forced to reschedule and postpone their games and events due to winter weather throughout the state of Michigan. Every effort is being made to schedule these games within NCAA and MIAA guidelines while also paying special attention to final exams scheduled at MIAA schools at this time of the term.
Here is an updated schedule as of 12 p.m., Thursday, April 12:

BASEBALL
4/13 at Olivet, 3 p.m.
4/14 HOME OR AWAY Olivet, 1 p.m. (An announcement will be made at 12 p.m. Friday)
4/15 at Tri-State, 1 p.m. (*Note, Finlandia game is now cancelled)
4/20 HOME vs. Adrian, 2 p.m. (*Note, this is a location change from Adrian to Alma)
4/22 at Adrian, 1 p.m. (*Note, this is a location change from Alma to Adrian)

SOFTBALL
4/14 at Olivet, 1 p.m.
4/25  HOME vs. Hope, 3:30 p.m.

MEN'S TENNIS
4/12 at Adrian, 3 p.m.
4/20 HOME vs. Tri-State, 3 p.m.
4/23 HOME vs. Calvin, 4 p.m.
*Note, Spring Arbor match cancelled, originally scheduled for 4/23

TRACK

Charlie Goffnett

Charlie Goffnett

One of the top Division III coaches in the nation, Charlie Goffnett has built the Alma women's basketball program into a national powerhouse. With three MIAA titles, five NCAA Tournament berths and one national championship under his belt, Goffnett is one of the most accomplished coaches in the nation.

Charlie Goffnett began coaching the women's golf team in 1990. As head coach, he has established a competitive program that is always on or near the top of the MIAA standings. In 1997, the Scots captured their third MIAA title under Goffnett's guidance.
