Alma College Athletics Announces Revised Ticket Prices for 2006-07

ALMA, Mich. - Alma College has announced revised ticket prices for its football and men’s and women’s basketball games, Director of Athletics Ellen Curtis announced today. While Alma College students, faculty and staff will continue to be admitted free to all contests, along with kids 12 and under, the Athletics Department will charge one flat admission charge of $5 for friends and fans of Scots Athletics. Football and men’s and women’s basketball remain the only games for which an admission is charged.

“We are hopeful that this will alleviate confusion regarding general admission tickets and discounted tickets,” stated Curtis. “Our football and basketball programs continue to provide some of the finest examples of intercollegiate athletics in the area and I personally invite our local community to come to the games and see  NCAA Division III athletics in action.”

NCAA Division III member institutions do not award scholarships or financial aid based on athletic achievement and emphasize the student-athlete experience. Alma College continues to integrate intercollegiate athletics into its student experience and curriculum as a liberal arts and sciences institution.

General admission tickets at the $5 price for all football, men’s and women’s basketball games go on sale an hour prior to each game at the ticket booth on-site. For group rates or more information, please contact Alma College Sport Marketing Manager Lindsay Carpenter at carpenter@alma.edu or (989) 463-7114.

Alma is one of only 100 colleges and universities to be named to the Templeton Honor Roll in the Templeton Guide: Colleges That Encourage Character Development.
