Race for a Reason Update
Alma and Scotty won the challenge, soundly defeating Olivet and
Clyde the Comet in the Race for a Reason Oct. 1 at Bahlke Stadium. The
event was organized by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's at both
College's.
The Olivet stands were able to put together $67.95 in the first half of
the game while Alma fans chipped in $124.44 in the first half. The
deciding factor was a foot race between Scotty and Clyde - which Scotty
won handily.
$192.39 raised to help those re-building their lives in the wake of
Katrina and Rita thanks to the generous fans at Saturday's game.
