Alma Athletics To Host Coaches Luncheon Series

ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College fall sports season is set to begin in the coming days and the Scots are anxious to take to the playing field with the support of their campus, local and state-wide community. As a result, Alma College Athletics and the Alma College Community Relations Office have teamed up to host the Coaches Luncheon Series this fall season. All media, fans and friends of Alma College Athletics are invited to attend throughout the season as the Coaches Luncheon Series kicks off Sept. 9.

Every Friday throughout the football season, head football coach Jim Cole, along with selected coaches, administrators, faculty and student-athletes, will meet and eat with members of the community for a lunch-time, press conference-style event. Cole will highlight the football game from the previous week as well as look ahead to the next day’s opponent. Other athletic department coaches and administrators will offer a glimpse inside the world of Alma College and Division III athletics.

Cost for lunch is $5 and includes sandwiches, chips, dessert, beverage and more. The Coaches Luncheon Series takes place in the Heather Room in the Tyler-VanDusen building on the camps of Alma College.

All community members are welcome to attend the event. Each of the series will begin at 12 p.m. and run no more than 45 minutes to allow for a prompt return to work.
