ALMA, Mich. - The Scot Loyalty Fund for Athletics kicked off on Oct. 21 with a reception in the lobby of the Hogan Center preceding an Alma vs. Olivet football contest.
Many loyal Scots were on hand, as well as tri-chairs Larry Andrus '72, Bill Klenk '59 and Charlie Gray. Check out the full photo gallery here!

The Kickoff
Alma’s “green” residence hall, Wright Hall, was completed in January 2005. The modern, 60-bed apartment-style hall features a number of environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, recycled-content ceiling tiles and carpeting, energy-efficient windows, rooftop solar heating panels, energy-efficient showers and washing machines, and a computerized energy monitoring system.

Charlie Goffnett
One of the top Division III coaches in the nation, Charlie Goffnett has built the Alma women's basketball program into a national powerhouse. With three MIAA titles, five NCAA Tournament berths and one national championship under his belt, Goffnett is one of the most accomplished coaches in the nation.
Charlie Goffnett began coaching the women's golf team in 1990. As head coach, he has established a competitive program that is always on or near the top of the MIAA standings. In 1997, the Scots captured their third MIAA title under Goffnett's guidance.
