Alma College Weekend of Highland Arts Nov. 3–4, 2012
Alma College is well known for its Scottish heritage, and and highland dancers are invited to register for an indoor dance competition and workshop to be held Nov. 3–4, 2012, on the College’s picturesque campus.
The Alma Indoor Highland Dancing Competition will take place Saturday, Nov. 3, with Judge Ann Milne presiding. Competition classes include primary, beginner, novice, intermediate and premier and comprise Highland Fling, Sword Dance, Seann Triubhas, Hornpipe and Village Maid among others.

FUSTA card must be presented at registration and S.O.B.H.D. rules govern all events. Pre-registration is required, and entry fees vary by class. Lodging is not provided.
Highland Dancing Workshops will be offered Sunday, Nov. 4. Instructors Ann Milne and Kate DeGood will offer Primary/Beginner/Novice ($20/dancer) and Intermediate/Premier ($35/dancer) instruction. Workshop price includes a light snack.
B.A.T.D. Exams will be offered Sunday afternoon following the workshop.
