The Brenneman Reception Area, McDonough Master Suite and Raymond-Carl Conference Suite are available for meetings, conferences, etc. on a reservation-only basis. Reservations should be made at least one week prior to the date requested.

Guests are responsible for all set-up, take-down, food, beverage, clean-up, etc. All catering must be ordered through Sodexo.

Guests must complete and submit an Event Policy & Damage form with their deposit. Guests also must agree to adhere to the Smith Alumni House Policies.

 

Alma College ranks second in the nation in the percentage of students who participate in alternative break service trips, according to Break Away, the national organization that supports the development of alternative break experiences that inspire lifelong active citizenship. Last year, Alma students provided flood relief, built affordable homes, planned activities for terminally ill children, constructed wheelchair ramps, worked with immigrants, and assisted in after-school programs.

Dr. Robyn Anderson

Robyn Anderson grew up surrounded by athletics. Her father was a physical education teacher and owned a gymnastics club.

“Teaching and coaching was part of my life from the beginning as the entire family became involved with the business in one capacity or another,” the professor of exercise and health science says. “I love to teach, coach and learn, so these areas became my passion.”
