Dear Mrs. Sally Posey:
The Lee and Sally Souders Posey Endowed Scholarship greatly impacted my life. The scholarship allowed me to work with children both in orphanages and on the streets throughout Ukraine. This experience also has opened my mind to a culture that is fascinating and unforgettable.
I became particularly fond of one child, Christina. She was in the sad situation of her dad being in prison so she will never get the chance to be adopted. But being a mentor to her, we were able to give her clothes, toys, hope and love.
This scholarship is the reason that Alma impacts countless lives across the world. You haven’t just changed my life, but the lives of countless people globally.

Ninety-four percent of Alma College’s 2011 graduates reported working in full-time positions or attending graduate school within six months of graduation.

“I now have a greater understanding in how my educational experience would have been at a larger university. This knowledge makes me even more aware of how important and significant it was for me to have generous donors like you to support me.”
