Ms. Dorothy Marie Bradley '26, formerly of Howell, died Nov. 21, 2004, at age 99. Among her survivors is her sister, Marian Bradley Svang '22. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Bradley Hasbrouck '24, and her brother, Collins Bradley '25. She included Alma College in her estate plans.
Mr. George G. Boyd '27 of West Melbourne, Fla., died March 5, 2004. Among his survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Sally Boyd Springfield '60 and Ralph Springfield '57, and his sister, Kathryn Boyd Taylor '30. He was predeceased by his brother, William Boyd '34 and his cousin, John Erskine '27.
Mrs. Ernestine Des Jardins Dodds '28 of New Baltimore died Nov. 10, 2004. She was predeceased by her sister, Lillian Des Jardins Malasky '18, and a brother, Nicholas Trudeau Des Jardins '23.

Dr. Robert J. Thorn '38 of Downers Grove, Ill., died Oct. 25, 2004. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Craig Thorn '36, in 1992. Dr. Thorn established the Craig-Thorn Speakers Series at Alma College to promote "science helping society." Memorials have been designated for Alma College.

Dr. DeHority served the Presbyterian Church in many capacities over the years, including his position as Executive Presbyter for the Presbytery of Geneva, N.Y., presiding over 64 churches.

Mrs. Nina Anderson of St. Louis died Sept. 9, 2004. Mrs. Anderson worked in the Financial Aid Office for 15 years, retiring in October 1976.
Dr. Michael Joseph Anuta, friend and generous supporter from Marinette, Wisc., and White Bear Lake, Minn., died Sept. 9, 2004, at the age of 103. His wife, Mrs. Marianne Anuta, age 101, passed away Nov. 18, 2004. Dr. and Mrs. Anuta planned for Alma College in their estate plans. He received an honorary Doctor of Law (LLD) degree from Alma in 1960. Among their survivors are nephews Jared Fritz '01 and Justin Fritz '02.
Mrs. Jean Fyfe Baird, Dean of Women 1947-50 and Professor of English 1945-51, died Dec. 27, 2003, in Tawas. She was formerly from Wichita, Kansas. Among her survivors is her brother, Frederick Fyfe '49.
Mr. Harold J. Cook, former faculty member in the Business and Economics departments at Alma College 1940-43, died Dec. 19, 2004, in Alma. Among his survivors is his daughter, Nancy Cook Stringer '66.
Mr. Melvin Lievense, friend and generous supporter, died Oct. 9, 2004, in Kalamazoo. Among his survivors are sons, Richard '75, William '70, and Robert '67, and daughter-in-law, Marcia Melangton Lievense '75. Memorials are designated for the Melvin and Carlie G. Lievense Endowed Scholarship Fund established in 1995 at the death of his wife, Mrs. Carlie Lievense.
Mrs. Mary Glenna Malpass, friend and generous supporter, died Nov. 10, 2004, in East Jordan. Among her survivors are her daughters, Suzanne Malpass Rogers '66 and Julia Malpass '71, and her son, William E. Malpass Jr. '64. She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Malpass Sr., in 1992. Mr. and Mrs. Malpass established the Malpass Endowed Scholarship at Alma College.
Mrs. Florence A. Temple, friend and generous supporter, died Oct. 1, 2004, in Northville. Mrs. Temple established a scholarship in memory of her daughter, Pamela Temple '78, who passed away in the 1970s.
