Graor Receives Commitment to Service Award

Junior Kimberly Graor of Livonia received the Commitment to Service Award, which honors students for their community service at individual college and university campuses as part of their education throughout their college career. Only 20 students were honored this year with this award. A 2002 graduate of Stevenson High School, Graor is the daughter of David and Diana Graor.

Michigan Campus Compact is a state-level non-profit organization that promotes the education and commitment of Michigan college students to be civically engaged citizens, through creating and expanding academic, co-curricular and campus-wide opportunities for community service, service-learning and civic engagement.

More than a third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region’s premiere performing arts facility.
