We Believe in Alma College

Carol Hyble

Thank you for believing in Alma College!

I think often of Winston Churchill’s quote, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.” I invite you to read the names of the individuals who have taken thoughtful action to make Alma College a philanthropic priority. Donors demonstrate their belief in the Alma experience when they send a gift, and each gift strengthens opportunities that have a direct and lasting impact on our students.

Since 1886 individuals have turned their belief in the Alma experience into collective accomplishments. Together we broaden opportunity and create new possibilities. Making a life on our campus translates into the continuation of important and meaningful work. We are committed to developing the potential in each student.

On July 1, 2005 we launched our new fiscal year. It is a clean slate ready to be written on by individuals who will take thoughtful action to make a life. We are pleased to work with you and to accept your gifts on behalf of Alma College, a place we can believe in.

Best wishes from campus,

Carol Furrow Hyble '78

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
