There is value to an Alma College education. We hope this website—along with the interactions you’ve had with our faculty, staff and students—has encouraged you to make the investment in Alma College for the next step in your education.
We are prepared to invest in you, too. Students invited to become a part of the Alma family can expect generous merit scholarships, the chance to apply for interest-specific awards, and need-based aid, including grants, loans and work-study, consistent with their financial situation as depicted through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
We strive to make an Alma College education accessible because we believe the world benefits from graduates who “think critically, serve generously, lead purposefully and live responsibly.” As you explore the different financial assistance opportunities, please feel free to call 1-800-321-ALMA with questions.
We offer two different types of aid calculators, a merit scholarship calculator and a net price calculator, to help you estimate the amount of aid you’ll receive toward your Alma tuition and costs. Learn more >>
Federal loans are need-based aid, so your eligibility for the following programs is determined by the information presented on your FAFSA. Parent loans and alternative loans are also available for education. Unlike grants and scholarships, loans must be repaid. Learn more >>
Alma College offers many scholarships and awards, some based on merit, others based on performance or portfolio work, and still others based on interests, major or affiliation. We also provide information about selected outside scholarships. Learn more >>
Alma College students can benefit both financially and experientially from employment during their college experience. A wide variety of campus offices hire student workers, and off-campus jobs in the local community are often available, too. View on-campus jobs here!
