Open Houses

Academic Open House- October 25, 2014

This event features academic majors including: art, modern languages, (including Chinese, French, German, and Spanish), new media studies, philosophy, religious studies, theatre, and women’s and gender studies. Meet faculty and students from these departments, tour our beautiful campus and enjoy lunch on us.

Music Open House- November 1, 2014

Join us for a select of performances, presentations, and panels from the Music Department. Featured ensembles include the Kiltie Marching Band and the Alma Choir. Students may also audition for scholarships after lunch. Whether you are a potential music major or simply interested in participating, don’t miss the day!

Fall Open House- November 8, 2014

Kick off your college search with our largest autumn event. Fall Open House is a great way for students to experience the excitement at Alma College. The day includes a campus tour, the chance to meet students and faculty members, lunch and tickets to the home football game versus Albion College. Come cheer on the Scots!

Junior Day – March 28, 2015

Junior Day is an event designed specifically for high school juniors and their families. We will show you the many opportunities at Alma College and introduce you to the staff of admissions representatives who will guide you along the way.

Tartan Day – April 11, 2015

This day is designed for accepted students to get an additional look at Alma College before they make their final college decision. Get involved at our student organization fair, learn what students are doing outside of the classroom, and find out everything you need to know to get started at Alma!

Transfer Open House – April 2 and May 15, 2015

Join us for this special event designed just for transfer students! You will:

  • learn more about the transfer process
  • speak with current transfer students
  • meet our faculty
  • tour our beautiful campus

Remember to submit your official transcript(s) before attending a Transfer Open House and receive a transcript evaluation when you come to campus.
