Visit Campus

If you’re interested in Alma College, come visit us! Talk to a professor. Attend a class. Eat lunch in Hamilton Commons. Tour our beautiful campus. We offer a variety of visit options and are excited to help plan your Alma experience.

Weekday Visits

Visiting during the week (almost any Monday through Friday) offers a personalized schedule and campus experience. Most weekday visits include meeting with an admissions representative, taking a tour of campus and enjoying a meal on us. You can also elect to meet with a faculty member or a coach, sit in on a class, attend a campus event or even stay overnight with one of our student hosts.

Saturday Visits

Throughout the year, Explore Alma Days provide a glimpse into the Alma College experience in a small group setting. These events begin at 9:45 am and feature a session with faculty, current students and an admissions representative. A campus tour follows, and lunch concludes the day.

In addition to our regular programming, our Explore Alma Day on January 25 will offer students a special glimpse into our well-rounded nursing program. Interested students may stay to hear from Dr. Judith McKenna, Director of Nursing Education, and take a tour of our state-of-the-art clinical simulation laboratory at MidMichigan Medical Center. (Transportation will be provided to and from the lab.) Register for this event.

Open House Events

In addition to Explore Alma Days, we offer a variety of larger open house events on select Saturdays throughout the year. These events are tailored to fit your college search process. Find out more at our registration page.

Becoming a Scot Day

Becoming a Scot Day (BASD) is an orientation day for all incoming Alma College freshman! Not only will you register for your fall classes, but you will also  learn more about fall move-in, the final steps of financial aid, have your student ID photo taken, and meet other Scots in the class of 2018!

Out-of-State & UP Visitors

We know that many of you are traveling a considerable distance to visit campus. Your time and interest is greatly appreciated. We will financially assist you with lodging, food and travel expenses. Please contact your admissions representative for details.

Off Campus Events

Our Summer Send Off Picnics are a time to meet Alma College Alumni, staff, incoming and current students while celebrating summertime before you move to campus this fall.
