Jessica Karbowski applies the concepts she learned from her economics minor to the concepts she now faces at Yale Law School.  “My economics minor constantly assists me in understanding different legal concepts; particularly since ‘law and economics’ has had so much influence in contemporary legal thought,” the 2004 graduate says.  Read more...

Brian Nielsen’s chemistry major paved the way for him to pursue his dream of medical school.  “Chemistry gave me a good foundation and created good habits,” he says. “Alma did a great job laying the foundation so I could really tackle a complicated program.”  Read more...

Since 2003, twenty-seven Alma College students have won prestigious national fellowships, scholarships and awards, including 15 Fulbright fellowships and multiple Truman, Udall, and Gates-Cambridge scholarships.
