Alumni Ambassadors

The Alumni Ambassadors are a dedicated group of Alma College alumni who, working with the Admissions Office, help future Scots learn more about Alma.  They respond to student and parent contact requests, enthusiastically sharing their experiences and answering questions.  They also refer and sponsor potential students, assist the Admissions staff with college fairs, attend and host local receptions and participate in on-campus Admissions events.

Each individual Ambassador commits to only those recruitment activities his or her time and talents allow.  If you are interested in becoming an Alumni Ambassador, please browse the following pages and fill out the Alumni Ambassador sign-up form.  You may also contact Laurie DeYoung ’04 for more information.

In the more than 100 years since its founding, Alma has stayed true to its roots by keeping its Scottish heritage alive. Today, Alma features a marching band clad in Kilts, a Scottish dance troupe, student pipers and its own tartan. Each year, the College hosts the Alma Highland Festival and Games, which feature traditional Scottish games and revelry.
