2. If you would like electronic feedback on a paper, you may email your paper and assignment to us and within 48 hours we will respond to you electronically with comments and suggestions for your paper.  Any submission received after hours on Thursdays, however, will not be read till the following Monday. To receive electronic feedback, send the completed form below along with your paper as a Word document or a .rtf to writingcenter@alma.edu.

NOTE: If we feel that a face-to-face appointment is necessary, we will contact you right away and invite you to come in to the Writing Center to work with a tutor.

Please note that the Writing Center’s purpose is not to fix grammar or punctuation problems.  We will not provide line by line corrections, but rather reader feedback based on your concerns and questions.  We will provide you with a one or two paragraph response which focuses first on the clarity of your writing.

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
