The Alma College Writing Center is a community of writers who offer peer consultations with Alma College student-writers from all disciplines and at any stage of the writing process — from prewriting, to drafting, to revising and editing a final draft. We also host faculty workshops and conversation circles that support writing instruction. Our goal is to encourage the development of rhetorical awareness and the critical thinking and writing strategies that students will use throughout college and career.
Monday–Thursday: 2–4 p.m. and 6–11 p.m.
Sunday: 7–9 p.m.
How to Make an Appointment
During the fall and winter semester you can make an appointment online. During our “open” hours, we also accept walk-in appointments, as our availability permits. We’ll also be glad to assist you in person with our online appointment system. Just stop by!
