Liason Librarian Program

Purpose:

The purpose of this program is to support effective communication between the library and the college's academic departments in order to facilitate partnerships, to support teaching and research needs and ultimately to develop an information literate student body.

Liaison Services include:

  • Library instruction for your classes that emphasize research skills
  • Assisting departments with developing high quality book and media collections in their disciplines
  • Collaborating to integrate library and research skills into the curriculum
  • Updating departments on new resources and library technology
