Science Direct
This site provides full-text access to 174 journals, and indexes many more. Science Direct covers Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, and more. (To get full-text articles when searching in this database, you must choose Search, then Journals, and then choose Source: Subscribed Journals. Please see a librarian for clarification.)

Applied Science and Technology Abstracts (ASTA)
Provides information on management, careers and employment, and financial trends in the scientific and technological fields.

Expanded Academic ASAP (InfoTrac)
Indexes approximately 3,500 journals and magazines and the New York Times and includes full text of a large portion of the citations. 2,100 of the publications are peer-reviewed journals.

GenSciAbs
General science literature from the US and Europe. The publications indexed here are less technical and are aimed at non-scientists.

ProQuest Science & Technology Module
This database indexes hundreds of science journals, many of which are available in full text.

The U.S. Federal Government is the world's largest producer of information. This site makes government-produced science information easier to find through organized topic headings.

 

Alma College trustees have adopted a master plan that provides a direction and set of priorities for the development of the physical campus. Troy junior Marie Bielman is a born leader. In addition to being a resident assistant and teaching assistant, she is a peer consultant for Academic and Career Planning at Alma College.

“Leadership roles fit well for me, and I love having so many different opportunities to help people through my positions,” she says. “I also know that these opportunities will benefit me in the future because every day, I learn new skills on how to be a leader and how to teach and help people effectively.”
