B. Short Answer Questions

Question 1:
CRL’s motto is “Scholarship, Stewardship, Leadership.” Explain how you think these three are related to each other.

 

Question 2:
Explain why you are interested and willing to be intentional about developing your own abilities as a leader.

List any specific curricular and co-curricular experiences you have had (speakers, seminars, academic classes, service-learning courses, campus/community service projects, alternative break, etc.) that increased your interest in leadership or your personal commitment to developing your service and leadership abilities.

Caitlin Borchard ’07 is happy to celebrate Alma College’s Scottish roots, but she also loves her Greek connections.

“I decided to go through recruitment into Greek life just for fun and ended up finding my home in Alpha Xi Delta,” she says. “Not only did I make lifelong friendships, it gave me so many leadership opportunities and really helped me come out of my shell.”
