MIPSA 2013 Teaching Poster Proposal FormThe reception prior to the dinner on Thursday evening, October 17, will feature posters devoted to innovative courses and innovative teaching methods in traditional courses. Teaching posters should help disseminate innovations, foster creativity in teaching, and provide a focus for discussion and exchange at the reception. Assuming adequate space, posters will remain on display on Friday.
A teaching poster may simply present 1) the instructor’s description and philosophy for the course, 2) essential parts of the course syllabus, and 3) related course materials or assignments. Tables on which syllabi and other materials may be placed will be part of the presentation area. Detailed poster preparation instructions will be distributed with proposal acceptances.
In the abstract area of the form below, please provide a brief description of your course, emphasizing its innovative features. As the last item in the form, please attach your syllabus. Please submit the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org in the e-mail body or as an attached Word document no later than September 22.
