Transfer Policy

Transfer Students

Transfer students are encouraged to apply to the Athletic Training Education Program. They must fulfill all the program requirements as indicated. The Athletic Training Education Director and the Registrar will evaluate the coursework from the other institution to determine which courses will meet the requirements of Alma College and the Athletic Training Education Program. In addition the ATEP Director will determine which Athletic Training courses meet the program’s proficiencies and competencies. The transfer student will need to show proof of which clinical proficiencies and clinical experiences were taught by a preceptor. The ATEP reserves the right to give the transfer student a comprehensive exam to test the educational level of the student.
