Megan Leigh Browning '11

Double majors in Spanish and Theatre. Megan was Stage Manager for The Interrogation and Costume Designer for Making the Call in One Act Play Festival-2008.  She was Light Board Operator for A Midsummer Night's Dream (2008) and Sound Board Operator for The Diviners (2007). At Fenton High School she was sound Operator for Our Town, stage manager for Guys and Dolls and appeared in The Outsiders.

Karin Bruinsma '10

Exercise and Health Science major with minors in public health and theatre.  Karin was Sound Board Operator in One Act Play Festival-2008.  This is Karin's first production with Alma College Theatre.  In high school she appeared in The Crucible, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Into the Woods and Annie.  She hopes to pursue a career as a physician's assistant. 

Linnae Caurdy '09

Theatre major. Linnae directed The Second Beam in One Act Play Festival (fall 2008), and appeared as Queen Margaret in Richard III (fall 2008), directed Last Night of the World in One-Act Play Festival 2007.  She appeared as Goldie Short in The Diviners (2007), Irina in Three Sisters (2007), Maggie in Who Made Robert DeNiro King of America? in One-Act Play Festival–2006, Mrs. Bellotti in Hot l Baltimore (2006), Paige in Months on End (2006), Rose in Passing Fancy in One-Act Play Festival–2005, Antoinette in Flea In Her Ear (2005) and was Assistant Stage Manager for Runner Stumbles (2007) and Major Barbara (2006). At Rockford High School she appeared in Macbeth, The Crucible, Our Town, Little Shop of Horrors and A Midsummer Night's Dream.  She was also the production manager for Our Town and a rehearsal assistant for Music Man and did Sleeping Beauty in summer theatre.  During the winter term of 2008 Linnae did an internship and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.  She also stage managed in New Yok for the 52nd Street Project.

Joshua Cousineau '12

Joshua was Stage Manager for Sure Thing (2008) and appreared as Lord Grey/Archbishop/James Blunt in Richard III earlier this term.  He was involved in acting and on running crew with the theatre program at Fraser High School.

Matt Crossman '13

Double majors in psychology and theatre.  Matt was Assistant Stage Manager for An Absolute Turkey (2009).  He was co-stage manager for the Bishop Foley High School Drama Club and was on set and running crew for Oklahoma!

Anthony C. Datema '09

Music Major with a minor in new media studies. Tony was Lighting Designer for Prelude to Thirty-Five (2008), Sound Engineer and Board Operator for One-Act Play Festival 2007.  He was a member of the Alma College Percussion Ensemble during fall 2005 and winter 2006, Audio Engineer and Board Operator for Threepenny Opera (2007) and has been a Theatre Technician in Presbyterian Hall since winter 2006. 

Paige Davis '12

Paige appeared as Clotilde Pontagnac in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Jennifer in The Second Beam in One-Act Play Festival~2008 and was Assistant Stage Manager for The Good Doctor (2009) and The Curious Savage (2009) and on costume crew for Richard III (2008).  At Fruitport High School she appeared in Guys and Dolls, Taming of the Shrew, Grease, Seussical, Cinderella and Jane Eyre.

Denise Elowsky '10

Double majors in Business and History. Denise appeared as Pollywog in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2008).  She was on the Set Crew for The Diviners (2007), Three Sisters (2007) and Hot l Baltimore (2006). She appeared in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, The Emperor's New Clothes and Oklahoma! at Michigan Lutheran Seminary.  She hopes to attend law school.

Amanda Ewing '11

Theatre major with minors in English and music.  Amanda appeared as Mitzi in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Madame Brassilhov and Irina in The Good Doctor (2009), Fairy May in The Curious Savage (2009), Ann in Good Neighbors in One-Act Play Festival~2008, as 2nd Murderer/Margaret, Daughter of Clarence/Page in Richard III (2008), 1st Fairy and Peaseblossom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008), Betsy in Affair Play in One-Act Play Festival~2007, was stage manager for Courting Prometheus in One-Act Play Festival~2008, assistant stage manager for The Dining Room (2008) and light board operator for The Diviners (2007).  This past summer Amanda was assistant music director and conducted the Stagecrafters Youth Theatre production of Willy Wonka.  Amanda hopes to pursue a career in acting, singing and dancing.

Taylor Gibson ‘10

Double majors in history and political science.  Taylor was on Running Crew for An Absolute Turkey (2009), Stage Manager for The Last Night of the World in One-Act Play Festival~2007, Properties Master for Hot l Baltimore (2006) and Stage Manager for Who Made Robert DeNiro King of America? in One-Act Play Festival~2006.  She was active in theatre for four years at Greenville High School where she worked both backstage and onstage.  Taylor hopes to pursue a career in law.

John Golladay '13

English major.  John appeared as Hotel Manager in An Absolute Turkey (2009).  He appeared as Prospero in Shakespeare’s The Tempest at Ionia High School and competed in the Assemblies of God Fine Arts National Festival as a drama soloist.

Sarah was Stage Manager for Courting Prometheus and Costume Designer for Prelude to Thirty-Five in One-Act Play Festival 2008.  Sarah was on makeup and wardrobe crew for Richard III earlier this term.

Annie Jennings '10

History major with a minor in theatre.  Annie appeared as Patti Scharer in The Second Beam and was Costume Designer for Courting Prometheus in One-Act Play Festival~2008.  She was on wardrobe crew for An Absolute Turkey (2009), Curious Savage (2009), Richard III (2008) and The Dining Room (2008) and she was costume designer for Après Opéra in One-Act Play Festival~2007.  Annie also appeared as Coaxer in Threepenny Opera (2007) and has worked in the costume shop on Richard III (2008), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008), Three Sisters (2007), The Nutcracker (2006), Hot l Baltimore (2006) and various other theatre and dance productions.

Jo appeared as 1st Actress in The Dining Room (2008), Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2008), Marg in Just One Night in One-Act Play Festival 2007, Darlene Henshaw in The Diviners (2007), Bethany in Beauty in One-Act Play Festival–2006, Pizza Delivery Girl in Hot l Baltimore (2006), Sammy in On The Edge in One-Act Play Festival–2005 and Amy in Battle of Bull Run Always Makes Me Cry as part of 5 ‘n 10 (2005). She was on Wardrobe Crew for The Runner Stumbles (2007) Assistant Stage Manager for Hot l Baltimore (2006) and for Flea In Her Ear (2005). She was on Wardrobe Crew for The Runner Stumbles (2007), Assistant Stage Manager for Hot l Baltimore (2006), and for Flea in Her Ear (2005). Jo worked Makeup Crew for Months on End (2006), Running Crew for Three Sisters (2007) and Major Barbara (2006).  At Mattawan High School she was active in forensics and appeared in You Can't Take It With You and The Birds. 

CR Mohrhardt '13

Double majors in Spanish and Theatre.  CR appeared as Soldignac in An Absolute Turkey (2009).  He was involved with numerous performances at Spring Lake High School and with an opera at Grand Valley State University.  He hopes to spend some time traveling after Alma College.

Brandon Newton '13

Chemistry major with minors in Spanish and theatre.  Brandon appeared as Police Inspector Dupont and Hotel Guest in An Absolute Turkey (2009).  He was an education office intern at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and worked on set construction.  At City High School he appeared in Our Town, The Mouse That Roared, Aladdin, Rent, Hamlet, Importance of Being Earnest, Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  After Alma College he hopes to pursue graduate school.

Theatre major.  Josh appeared as Vatelin in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Narrator and Peter and Father in The Good Doctor (2009), Samuel Savage in The Curious Savage (2009), Bill in Sure Thing in One-Act Play Festival~2008, George, Duke of Clarence/King Edward IV/Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond in Richard III (2008), 3rd Actor in The Dining Room (2008), Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008), Eric in The Man Who Couldn’t Dance in One-Act Play Festival~2007, Dewey Maples in The Diviners (2007), Red in Who Made Robert DeNiro King of America? in One-Act Play Festival~2006, Jamie in Hot l Baltimore (2006), Mark in The Philadelphia in One-Act Play Festival~2005.  Josh spent the summer of 2008 in New York City where he appeared as Benvolio in CSI Verona with Misfit Toys Repertory Company.

Caitlin appeared as Steph in Up, Down, Strange, Charmed, Beauty, and Truth in One-Act Play Festival–2006, Waitress in The Philadelphia in One-Act Play Festival–2005 and as Lynette in Anything for You as part of 5 ‘n 10 (2005). She was on Makeup Crew for The Dining Room (2008), The Diviners (2007), The Runner Stumbles (2007) and Hot l Baltimore (2006), Major Barbara (2006) and Flea In Her Ear (2005). She was Master Carpenter for Months on End (2006).

Logan Ricket '11

Logan appeared as Rédillon in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Cherdyakov and Man and Policeman and Pochatkin in The Good Doctor (2009), Jeffrey in The Curious Savage (2009), Jay in Prelude to Thirty-Five in One-Act Play Festival~2008, Lord Hastings/William Brandon in Richard III (2008) and was wig master for A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008).  He performed in thirty plays prior to Alma including Music Man and Honk.  He also directed one play and assistant directed a play.

Theatre major.  Nati appeared as Clara in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Snout/Wall in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008), Liz in Just One Night in One-Act Play Festival~2007 and was Assistant Stage Manager for The Dining Room (2008) and Assistant Stage Manager and Properties Master for The Diviners (2007).

Emily Smith ‘10

Double majors in Psychology and Theatre. Emily appeared as Karen in Apres Opera in One-Act Play Festival 2007 and Louise in The Runner Stumbles (2007). She was on Wardrobe Crew for The Dining Room (2008), Running Crew for A Midsummer Night's Dream (2008) and worked Set Construction and Lighting crews for Three Sisters (2007) and Hot l Baltimore (2006). At her high school in New Jersey she appeared in Aida, Once on this Island and Check Please.  She hopes to attend graduate school after Alma College.

Double majors in English and Theatre. Meekin was Production Stage Manager for Three Sisters (2007), Stage Manager for Up, Down, Strange, Charmed, Beauty, and Truth in One-Act Play Festival–2006 and worked on Set Construction Crew for Hot l Baltimore (2006).

Double majors in computer science and theatre.  Oak appeared as Pontagnac in An Absolute Turkey (2009),Sexton and Husband and Kistunov in The Good Doctor (2009), Hannibal in The Curious Savage (2009), Bill in Good Neighbors in One-Act Play Festival~2008, Lord Stanley in Richard III (2008), Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2008), Henry in Affair Play in One-Act Play Festival~2007, Melvin Wilder in The Diviners (2007), Fedótik in Three Sisters (2007), Darrell in Electric Roses in One-Act Play Festival~2006, Cab Driver in Hot l Baltimore (2006), Al in The Philadelphia in One-Act Play Festival~2005 and Dan in Perfect as part of 5 ‘n 10 (2005).  He was on running crew for The Runner Stumbles (2007). During the summer of 2008 Oak was an intern with Free Street Theatre in Chicago where he traveled to different parks in Chicago performing for children between five and twelve years of age.

Anthony appeared as Jean & Inspector Duval in An Absolute Turkey (2009), Cardinal/Duke of Norfolk in Richard III (2008), was Assistant Stage Manager for The Good Doctor (2009) and worked set crew for Threepenny Opera (2007).  He has been involved with theatre elsewhere and has appeared in Cinderella, Annie Get Your Gun and Meet Me in St. Louis.

Double majors in Biology and Theatre. Breann appeared as Erna Prindle in Runner Stumbles (2007), Anfísa in Three Sisters (2007) and the Girl in Hot l Baltimore (2006). She has dreams of pursuing theatre in Chicago or New York.

Kate Wiltz '13

Double majors in psychology and theatre.  Kate appeared as Armandine in An Absolute Turkey (2009).  She appeared in seven productions at West Catholic High School including Importance of Being Earnest and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
