Alma College Library faculty offer courses in library research as well as instructing library research sessions in collaboration with other academic disciplines. Librarians are also available for research help for students who would like advice on where to search for information on a particular subject.

Alma College’s partnership with the Pine River Superfund Citizen Task Force, an EPA-sanctioned Community Advisory Group (CAG), was selected as a finalist for Michigan’s 2007 Carter Partnership Award. The Task Force is recognized as one of the most influential and active CAGs nationally and as having the largest membership of any CAG in the United States.

The academic hub of Alma College, the library, is a place of challenges, toil, and success. Library Director Carol Zeile understands that to a great degree as she was once an Alma College undergraduate. Now she dedicates her time and energy to ensuring that the library is equipped to serve the research needs of students, faculty, staff, and community members.
