The Alma College German Club
would like to invite you to join our weekly Stammtisch. Enjoy a meal and practice German in a relaxed atmosphere!


What: A meal with everyone who is interested in German and the German culture!
Where: Hamilton Commons (Look for the German/Austrian flags on the table!)
When: Mondays, 5:30-7 p.m. and Thursdays, 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

More than one-third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region’s premier performing arts facility.

Major: German

Having already traveled to the country twice, George Brittain says what makes it great is “das deutsche Volk”—the people!.

The German major spent five weeks in Cologne, where his family knew missionaries who could introduce him to the city and culture. On another trip, he stayed in the small town of Kusel while completing a three-month internship.
