Chinese Club

About the Club

The Alma College Chinese Club is a student-run organization established in 2009. Elected officials and enthusiastic Chinese students help organize extra-curricular activities and other cultural activities. Alma students can explore the environmental wonders of the Galapagos Islands, practice Spanish language skills, study Ecuadorian culture, complete coursework in business finance, and fulfill a South American internship in entrepreneurship through Alma College's one-of-a-kind partnership with Equatorialis University in Quito, Ecuador.

Tom McGuire came to Alma College with no intention of studying French, but one class has him hooked for life.

“Learning not only became fun, but a rewarding, challenge-driven activity that taught me so much more than a language,” the Lincoln senior says. “Learning was fun, but it was fun because it was a challenge.”
