What can I study?

You have the chance to take three courses in subjects like Irish film, cultural studies, history and literature. Also, you have the chance to take trips throughout Ireland’s most historic and interesting landmarks.

Why Dublin?

The capital of Ireland, Dublin is located on the country’s east coast. It is Ireland’s center of commerce, culture politics and history. With almost 50% of its population under the age of 25, Dublin has an active nightlife. On the weekends, visit the Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral or the ancient Book of Kells on the campus of Trinity College. Learn about Ireland Gaelic History and its influences on music, art and culture as you have the semester of a lifetime!

  • Sophomore status

Where will I live?

You are housed with a host family and are provided breakfast and dinner daily. You are responsible for your own lunches.

Scholarships are available through AHA International.

Summer Programs: You will pay the tuition, room, board, academic fees and a $500 administrative fee.

How do I get started?

To begin the application process, visit the Academic and Career Planning Office (basement of the library). All applications are submitted to each program through the ACP Office on the student’s behalf.

 

The $10.2 million Hogan Center renovation and building project includes the construction of a new sports arena and convocation center along with renovated locker rooms, athletic training space, natatorium, coaches' offices and classrooms. The "new" Hogan is designed to be Alma College's first LEED-certified building for sustainable construction. The estimated completion date is August 2010.
