
What can I study?
You have the chance to learn Ghana’s most common indigenous language (Asante Twi) as well as take classes in cultural studies, economics, history, sociology, political science and service learning. You will have the opportunity to learn about current issues in Ghana and development strategies, or intern with local non-governmental organizations. All courses are taught in English.
Why Accra?
The capital of Ghana, Accra is one of the most modern cities on the continent of Africa. It is home to Ghana’s National Museum, Theater, and library as well as Ghana’s President and Parliament. It is the economic, political and administrative center of the country.

Where will I live?
You are placed in a shared student house located off-campus. Rent is included in the program fee.

Semester Programs: You will pay published Alma College tuition, fees and room. Since board is not provided, Alma College will adjust the fees accordingly.
How do I get started?
To begin the application process, visit the Academic and Career Planning Office (basement of the library). All applications are submitted to each program through the ACP Office on the student’s behalf.
