Alumni Resources

In a changing economy, you may be facing changing circumstances.  Please know that career services are available for Alma College alumni.

Some intial suggestions:

  • Get your resume updated and fine-tuned. Ask multiple people to review it, including people in your career field and in your field of interest, if you are making a change.
  • Network, network, network!
  • Learn how to maximize online services.

Suggested online resources:

The Alma Circle: use this online tool to find old friends, network with other alumni, and search job postings. Go to "People" and "Find" to search by location, major, grad year, type of position, etc.  Look under "Groups" to find networks in specific fields, locations or who participated in specific activities while at Alma.  Look under "Careers" for job postings, and be sure to look to see if there are alumni connections at any companies of interest! Jobs that come into our office requiring more experience than our graduate level will be posted on this site.

Experience: This is the posting system we use currently for positions that come into our office and would meet the education and experience level of our current students/new grads.  Jobs that require additional experience will be posted on the Alma Circle. Please contact academic-career@alma.edu if you would like us to create a profile for you.

Social Networking: Consider joining LinkedIn or other sites to build your network.

NACElink: Job posting site of the National Association of Colleges and Employers. This site is active on the Job and Internship Search page of our website.
