Our purpose: To provide opportunities for Alma College students to develop the academic, personal and professional skills that will be helpful in successfully transitioning through Alma College and into professional life.

The ACP staff is committed to engaging and supporting students in a lifelong learning process and enabling students to develop the skills, confidence, and independence to be successful.

More than one-third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region’s premier performing arts facility.

Discovering Anderson Cooper on CNN in seventh grade gave Bad Axe sophomore Jessica McLeod more than just entertainment after school. It also tuned her in to a future career path.

“Hearing Anderson Cooper talk about the world and politics made me very interested in the government and the way it works,” she says. “I wanted to learn more about the subjects he was talking about. And as I’ve learned more, it has only become more and more fascinating to me.”
