Destination: India

“I am so grateful for the experience that I had while in India this summer. It was amazing to travel to an underdeveloped area that is struggling with medical issues and to volunteer and help alleviate these issues.

I worked with patients who were living in some of the worst conditions in India. Seeing them struggle in these unfortunate and unhealthy situations with poor access to healthcare really opened my eyes to the trans-boundary issue of health.

Through my P-Global experience, I have grown as a leader. It gave me knowledge that instilled in me a desire to serve as a global citizen by traveling to other areas of the world that need help. It is very important for those of us who have resources to help those who are not able to help themselves.”
