The house serves as a gathering place for members of the Kappa Iota sorority. It also provides living space for seven members.

Alma is one of seven Michigan colleges and universities to hold membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa Society, the national leadership society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character.
