Students Present “The Threepenny Opera”

The Alma College Music and Theatre Departments present a revival production of the 1954 American box office smash, “The Threepenny Opera,” at 8 p.m. Monday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 23 in the Remick Heritage Center Fixed-Form Theatre. Director Jonathon Musser and musical director Murray Gross will highlight the collective talents of students in the music and theatre departments in the three-night production. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for Alma College faculty, staff and students and youth 18 and under. Call (989) 463-7304 for ticket information. Alma is one of seven Michigan colleges and universities to hold membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa Society, the national leadership society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character. The College also has 19 other national departmental honor societies.
