Assistant Professor of Business Administration

Alma College invites applications for a two-year appointment for an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration beginning in fall of 2012.  The courses taught will primarily include financial and introductory accounting.  Experience in both accounting practice and teaching required. Candidates must have an MBA or M.Acc.; a CPA or CMA is preferred.  Primary duties for the position are teaching and advising, with additional departmental service expected.

Political Science Assistant Professor Britt Cartrite was backpacking through Europe in 1989 - the year of Tiananmen Square and the Berlin Wall.

“I was in Europe when the Berlin Wall fell … that crystallized my interest in political science,” he says.
