Reference and Instruction Librarian
The Alma College Library invites applications for a temporary Reference and Instruction Librarian. Primary responsibilities are reference and information literacy, but additional duties may be assigned on the basis of need and candidate abilities. This is a full-time temporary faculty appointment. Schedule will include some evening and weekend hours.
Minimum qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent is required. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. Familiarity with library instruction and a commitment to excellence of library service are essential. Academic library experience in reference and/or instruction is strongly preferred. A second Masters degree is desirable, but not required.
