Position Openings

Office Associate

This position will be responsible for Alumni Office day to day functions and completion of numerous projects, in addition, will assist members of the Advancement Sector and the President's Office with special requests. This position reports to the Director of Alumni Relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial/clerical support for the Director of Alumni and assist other Advancement Office personnel when needed.
  • Prepare materials and complete mailings for projects and events.
  • Assist with keeping alumni Web site current.
  • Prepare lists and labels for alumni events.
  • Manage Smith Alumni House guest registration and billing.
  • Assist with duties associated with Homecoming.
  • Assist with duties associated with the Alumni Board.
  • Assist Alma Leadership Alliance student organization.
  • Assist with duties associated with Community Appreciation Weekend.
  • Assist with duties associated with Commencement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in database management.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
