Part Time Instructor

Alma College seeks a part-time instructor to teach Jazz, Tap and/or Ballet courses, beginning Fall Term 2008.  Opportunities exist for teaching 1-2 beginning or introductory courses per term as well as choreographing for the Alma College Dance Company.  Additionally there is potential to teach and choreograph at a local private dance studio.  Two years of professional/studio teaching required; Bachelor's degree in dance preferred but equivalent professional experience will be considered.  Please send a DVD of your teaching style if available.

Alma’s “green” residence hall, Wright Hall, was completed in January 2005. The modern, 60-bed apartment-style hall features a number of environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, recycled-content ceiling tiles and carpeting, energy-efficient windows, rooftop solar heating panels, energy-efficient showers and washing machines, and a computerized energy monitoring system.
