Part Time Instructors

Positions available for temporary part time instructors to teach sections of ENG 101, College Rhetoric II.  Course goals include developing critical thinking and reading skills with an emphasis on analytical, persuasive and research writing; development of style and voice; and evaluation of writing from various disciplines.  Instructors needed for Fall 2008 (August-December) and Winter 2009 (January-April) terms.

Minimum qualifications: Masters Degree or above in English; relevant teaching experience.  The ideal candidate will have a commitment to liberal arts education at the undergraduate level in an environment emphasizing close faculty-student interaction.

A Truman Scholarship finalist and Center for Responsible Leadership Fellow, Drew has traveled to South Africa and China studying the HIV/AIDS crisis. The Bay City native intends to use his French minor and POE in International Health to improve AIDS care in Africa, hopefully as a physician with a global public health organization.
